Before living in the Bay Area, Rev. Brent was a member of First Church of Albuquerque where he discovered the Science of Mind philosophy 15 years ago. "I sat mesmerized listening to the minister's message that day and realized that this teaching was exactly what I had been looking for most of my adult life."

He has been a Science of Mind practitioner for 7 years and graduated from the San Diego campus of the Holmes Institute in 2005 with a Masters Degree in Consciousness Studies. He is currently working towards professional chaplaincy certification through Marin General Hospital and the San Francisco Theological Seminary.

Prior to ministry, Rev. Brent had a successful 25-year career in the computer industry in sales, marketing, and management positions. He also taught seventh grade English and social studies.

Rev. Brent has three grown children and lives in San Anselmo. He is grateful to be a member of the Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living and to be in service to our spiritual community.
