What I love about Science
of Mind is that it draws from the essence of eastern
and western spiritual traditions, as well as the wisdom
of many great philosophers and new thought pioneers,
to provide a 'practical spirituality'--principles and
practices that help us to heal and transform our relationships
and our lives.
When I walked through the doors of the Golden Gate
Center for Spiritual Living in 2004 I thought I had
entered through a portal to some higher dimension
and had somehow landed in heaven. My thought was,
"Where have you been all my life?!" The
teachings resonated deeply within me. I began taking
classes right away, and four years later I completed
my studies and became a licensed practitioner. Little
did I know that was only the beginning! I couldn't
wait to give back to the community that had nurtured
me so lovingly, and so it has been my great honor
and privilege to offer my services as a practitioner
in this community since July of 2008.
It is my great joy to be able to sit with a person
who is experiencing difficulty in some area of their
life and to know the Truth for them, to see and reflect
back to them their magnificence, to shed new light
on a situation that allows for a new way of thinking,
a release of thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve,
and an influx of new creative energy that begins to
shift circumstances so that healing may happen and
miracles may occur. |
