Rev. M. Louise Mann
Rev. M. Louise Mann
On May 25, 2014, after 22 years as a Religious Science Practitioner and almost 30 years of Membership in a Science of Mind community, I, Reverend M. Louise Mann, became a Minister for life, in a beautiful Ordination ceremony created by the Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living Community. Thank you God. I am so grateful. And So It is!
Rev. M. Louise Mann received her Master of Arts degree in Consciousness Studies, as required by Holmes Institute’s ministerial school, and her Ministerial License in 2008. She found herself immediately drawn into many pastoral care situations for family, friends and community.
In her almost 30 years of service in this community, she began working in the bookstore and managed it for several years before earning her Practitioner License in 1992. She then served on the old Board of Trustees as Vice President, as a teacher of accredited classes, on the Ministry of Prayer and as a Practitioner in private practice.
Prior to discovering Science of Mind, she worked with various grass-roots organizations in the San Francisco area as a volunteer peer counselor and tutor. Eventually she entered a clinical psychology program at San Francisco State University where she received her Master of Science degree in 1979. She did her internships in two military hospitals and then worked as psychotherapist in a non-profit counseling center and in private practice.
Until January 2010, when she took on the more demanding care of a dear friend, she also participated in the business world in administration, sales presentation software, and project management analysis and in trainer roles; most often in the area of technology. She has trained individuals and groups in the use of integrated business software and other programs in a corporate setting and managed databases.
Now all her time is committed to her unfolding ministry. She is available for private counseling sessions, officiating weddings and memorials; and, as a speaker.
She is forever grateful to the Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living community members for their love and support throughout her journey!
