Joyce has been invovled in healing work since her own challenge with cancer in 1984. The Rosen Method bodywork was an integral part of her healing and led her to a four-year study and internship to become a Rosen Method bodyworker herself. She has over 22 years of experience in this therapeutic touch therapy.
Joyce received her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a Holistic Health emphasis from John F. Kennedy in 1994. She has been a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist since 2001.
Becoming a Religious Science practitioner at the Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living in 2004 completed her circle of studies in Mind, Body and Spirit well-being.
In addition to maintaining a private practice as a spiritual counselor, psychotherapist, and therapeutic bodyworker, Joyce is a Complementary Care Volunteer at Hospice by the Bay, supporting patients in their living and in their transitions.
"I love being a spiritual counselor in each of my modalities: seeing beyond the human doubts and fears; witnessing my client's inner truths; celebrating their growth in consciousness; and living more fully in the joy, peace and light of their true essence." |
