Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, of the Agape
International Spiritual Center, is the originator of
the Life Visioning Process.
Visioning is becoming a space of deep
listening where one is available to hear Spirit's highest
vision or idea for any individual, project, or organization.
How Visioning Works
A group comes together for the express
purpose of visioning. A facilitator brings the group together
in prayer using the recognition and unification steps of
treatment. During the prayer, the facilitator activates
unconditional love as the field that will hold the vision.
The group rests in this place for a few moments. Out of
the silence, the facilitator asks the following questions:
- What is the highest vision or perfect
idea for [person, project, or organization]?
- What must they/it become to empower
the vision?
- What must be released?
- What must be embraced?
- Is there any other information that
is needed in this moment?
Each question is followed by 3-5 minutes
of silence. After the last question is asked, the facilitator
anchors the visioning in prayer that includes the realization,
thanksgiving, and release steps of treatment. |
