Dr. Lloyd George Tupper founded the Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living in April, 1983. The church was located in San Francisco until 1988 when it moved to Marin County.
Dr. Tupper resigned as Senior Minister to become President of the Holmes Institute, a graduate school of consciousness studies that trains future Religious Science ministers.
Dr. Tupper is now the Founding Minister Emeritus of the Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living and President Emeritus of the Holmes Institute. He speaks at the Golden Gate Center on special occasions and is most associated with the teaching and training of future Religious Science ministers.
He resides in Santa Barbara, California, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
